RVCSC Summer Soccer Series 2022!

It’s back by popular demand! The Summer Soccer Series is a fun way to get kids on the field playing in a 'pick-up'

style game environment. We had over 100 players last summer...don’t miss out!

What are the benefits of Pick-Up Soccer?

​

1. The game is the teacher. Players are able to experiment and learn from mistakes and successes and not be afraid to try new things.

2. Low pressure, risk-free environment.

3. Communication. Since there is no formal coach yelling from the sideline, players will need to communicate with each other on the field. This will help with awareness and understanding of the game.

4. Short-sided games encourage personal growth with the ball. Individual skills and footwork are encouraged and will help build player's ball handling confidence.

5. Short-sided games teach fast transition from offense to defense. Smaller fields also highlight the need for width and depth.

6. Fun with friends!

RVCSC Summer Soccer Series - Tighe Field - 7v7 (Field A & Field B) - 7:00pm - 8:00pm

 

Girls 2014/2013: Mondays 6-7pm  7/11, 7/18, 7/25, 8/1, 8/8

Girls 2011/2012: Mondays 7-8pm  7/11, 7/18, 7/25, 8/1, 8/8

Boys 2014/2013: Tuesdays 6-7pm  7/12, *7/19, 7/26, 8/2, 8/9 *Hewitt

Boys 2011/2012: Tuesdays 7-8pm  7/12, *7/19, 7/26, 8/2, 8/9 *Hewitt

Boys 2008, 2009, 2010: Thursdays 7-8pm (Field A)  7/14, 7/21, 7/28, 8/4, 8/11

Girls 2008, 2009, 2010: Thursdays 7-8pm (Field B) 7/14, 7/21, 7/28, 8/4, 8/11

​

Fridays: Make-up day if there is a rain-out during any of the sessions that week

​

Attendance:  Players can attend as many or as few as they wish.  

 

Cost: $25  One time payment for all sessions.

Parent Volunteers!!!
We can not run the program without your help. The Summer Soccer Series is looking for volunteers
to supervise at each session. Sessions without supervision will not be able to run. Please fill in your
