Second Steps is an eight (8) week training program offered as an addition to intramural training and play for all 2nd grader intramural players registered in the Rockville Centre Soccer Club. The program will provide higher level professional training to increase the technical and tactical knowledge and abilities of our Second Grade intramural players. For the fall of 2009, these sessions will be held on Tuesday afternoons. Registration is done online using the same system used for intramural registration. The fee is $50. Please select the check box for the Second Steps program. This program is a supplement to the intramual program for 2nd graders. Participants must be also be registered for the intramural program.
Your child will be assigned to a weekly one-hour afternoon training session. We will send you an email to confirm the training session details. We must have your email address in order to communicate with you.
Player groupings and movement between groups is at the discretion of the assigned trainer. While the program is open to all players, there is an expected level of commitment and focus on behalf of the players involved. The program is geared toward players seeking to advance their level of play. The Club will assign players so as to evenly distribute participation in the program among eligible players. Due to the volume of participants, placement requests cannot be guaranteed.
